This CO2 Sequestration facility was installed at an existing ethanol fermentation plant and involved the injection of 367,000 tons per year of produced carbon dioxide. Our scope of work involved designing a facility that would take the atmospheric CO2, process and compress it to high pressure and transport it via a pipeline to below ground injection wells. The facility included a large volume blower, two 4-stage gas compressors, a glycol dehydrator and water-cooled exchangers - all housed within an enclosed steel building.
